Straight Cut Edge with Grommets
This is our standard banner finish for all regular banners and non-rip banners under 52" in height. These two banners utilize a non-fray vinyl material, allowing for a straight cut edge that looks clean and doesn't require any stitching, and can be produced very quickly because of the lack of sewing that goes into a stitched hem banner. Brass grommets are then punched into the fabric to allow the banner to be hung in a variety of ways. Our banners come standard with four grommet corners included. Additional grommets are suggested for banners over 6' long.
Stitched Hems with Grommets
For all our over-sized banners that are produced that go over the 52" height capacity of our standard banners, stitched hems are the automatic finishing style. We utilize a different print system with a different vinyl that requires stitching the hems to make them durable and attractive for indoor and outdoor use. The 1" stitched hems encompass all sides of the banner. This style of finishing comes with brass grommets punched into the banner every 24" to 30" all the way around the banner for hanging purposes. Typically no extra grommets are needed for this type of banner finish.
Pole Pockets / Pole Sleeves / Sleeved Banners
Sleeved banners are primarily used for light pole banners, back drop step-and-repeat banners, and sometimes over-the-street road banners. The typical finish on a sleeved banner includes extra material, running along the top and bottom of a single-sided or double-sided banner, allowing the banner to be slid onto pole display systems. The pole pockets (sleeves) are determined by the actual diameter of the rod the banner will be displayed from. Before ordering you will need to know the exact diameter of the poles for a proper fit and pricing.
Single-Sided Banners
A single sided banner is pretty much what it sounds like...a banner with information on the front of the material only. Single sided banners finishing is the most common in the vinyl banner industry for digital printed banners, silk screen banners, mesh banners, lettered banners, trade show retractable banners and more. Single sided banners are more commonly installed against a surface so that the blank banner material on the back is obscured from few. Single-sided banners are a great economical buy perfect for just about any advertising need.
Double-Sided Banners
Basically a double-sided banner finish displays two images...one on the front of the banner and another on the back of the banner. Double-sided banners can have the same advertising on both sides or contrasting information on either side of the banner, to cater your target audience in each direction. Double-sided banners can be made one of two ways: two banners stitched to each other with block-out material in between so that the information from the other side doesn't bleed through; or digitally printed onto special vinyl material that is ink receptive on both sides.
Reinforced Corners, Webbing, Snap Hooks & Rope (Over-the-Street)
Over-the-street banner finishing is a very specialized finishing options that requires a lot of attention to detail and usually involves city specific requirements and approvals. The extra large nature of these road banners may require special equipment like D-rings, snap hooks, reinforced corners and webbing or sewing in rope, just to name a few. Since these banners are in high traffic areas and can endure a high amount of stress due to weather factors it's always best to check with your city planning department before purchasing or pricing an over-the-street banner.
No Grommets
If you will not need any brass grommets to hang your banner with then you can opt for no grommets on any banner style we offer. Most grommet free banners are used in display cases, as table covers or in retractable stands for trade-show advertising. These banners can be installed on just about any surface with double-sided tape or even velcro hook and loop systems making them seamless and flush. No grommet banners give a very clean look for instances when hanging the banner is not necessary and may deter from the overall design of the banner.
